About Us - Coaches and Staff

 Hi!  I am Tanaya Williams and I live for gymnastics!  I have been in the gymnastics business for my entire life. I participated in gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, and track throughout my school years. I began coaching in my father's gym when I was very young and just never stopped!  My father was a competitive gymnast, trampolinist, and circus performer. He was also my coach for most of my childhood. I owe my passion for the sport and for teaching to him! 

I am a lifelong learner and have studied three major areas in college that I apply in my work daily – Elementary Education, Health and Human Performance, and Business Management. Besides formal college studies, I have numerous other certifications and course completions.  Some of which include -

 · USA Gymnastics National Instructor

· American Heart Association CPR/First Aid Instructor

· USAG Safety and Risk Management Certification

· USOC SafeSport Certified

· National Youth Sports Coaching Academy Certified

· Positive Coaching Alliance Double Goal Coach Certified

· Stewards of Children – Recognizing and Responding to Child Abuse and Neglect

 and, the Florida Department of Children and Families 40 hour Child Care Facility Training.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Scott, and we have an amazing daughter, Perisa! You will see both of them in the gym with me almost daily. 

Hello! I am Miss Perisa! I am Mrs. Tanaya's daughter; we like to say she made a clone of herself. I started doing gymnastics before I could walk! I was a competitive gymnast for almost ten years and made it through level 7. I started my coaching journey at only 12 years old and have been coaching for going on 7 years! I coach everything from preschool to adults, so I hope to see you in the gym!

I have multiple certifications that are relevant to my job as a coach! These include:

• USOC SafeSport
• USAG Safety and Risk Management
• BLS/ CPR Certified
• Child Development Associate Credential
• Department of Children and Families Staff Certification

Not only am I returning to competing in gymnastics this year, but I also do aerial arts! My deepest enthusiasm is for performing in the air! You may see me training on Wednesday nights or performing in our showcases in the summer! My biggest dream is to perform in a big circus like Cirque Du Soleil!

I graduated from Merritt Island High School in 2024 and just came home from college at Florida International University. I earned my AA while also taking classes that focused on early childhood education and theatre!

I absolutely love my job and I couldn't be happier to be home! Don't be afraid to say hello! Happy flipping! :)

 Hi! My name is Shaina, I am a professional aerial artist and coach.  I have been coaching aerialists for almost 10 years now and there is nothing else I would rather be doing. I absolutely love my job! I am a certified instructor through Aerial Physique and recognized by the American Circus Educators. My favorite apparatus is silk but you can catch me hanging out on the sling, lyra, trapeze, and aerial cube.  You can also see me performing with fire from time to time! I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the Galactic Gymnastics family! 

Hi! My name is Kyra. I am a gymnastics coach for all ages and levels at Galactic Gymnastics! You will also see me working summer camp and birthday parties! I have been doing gymnastics since I was in second grade and I still love to tumble! I have always had a passion for gymnastics and I am grateful for the opportunity to share that passion with the children I work with.  Currently, I am attending Eastern Florida State College where I am majoring in Kinesiology.  In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball! 

Hello! My name is Tatum!  I love my job here at Galactic Gymnastics!  I teach aerial arts and gymnastics and also help with summer camp and birthday parties!  Aerial arts is my specialty.  It is a fun art form that I have been doing since I was 9 years old and I have been teaching for over 4 years now.  I graduated from Melbourne High School and I am taking classes at EFSC and I plan on going to UCF to major in mechanical engineering.  It's great to meet all of you!

Hello! My name is Talia, but most people call me Tay! I graduated from Merritt Island, class of 2023, where I participated in theatre and color-guard! I have also been a dancer for most of my life. I was part of gymnastics from 6 months up until I was 13! I left the sport for a few years but now I am so happy to be back. 

In addiition to gymnastics im also a professional figure skater! I'm a gold medalist at the national level and a silver medalist at the international level! 

I am incredibly passionate about coaching gymnastics and hope to see you visit us soon!

Hi, my name is Miss Calista!  I am a senior at Satellite High School.  I did gymnastics for 7 years and I still love tumbling!  I have been a competitive cheerleader for 3 seasons now.  I also love working with kids and enjoy helping and watching them grow as gymnasts! In my free time I also enjoy going to the gym, surfing at the beach, and hanging out with my friends.  

Hi I'm Miss Kaylan! I attend Rockledge High School and I've been doing gymnastics for five years. I am currently competing level 6 and my favorite event is beam. My favorite color is green and I like doing crafts in my spare time. I love coaching and inspiring little kids to enjoy gymnastics as much as I do. I want to be a chemical engineer, but gymnastics will always be a part of my life!

Hi I'm Miss Danielle! I attend Rockledge High School and I've been doing gymnastics for five years. I also do aerial arts! I am currently competing level 6 and my favorite event is bars. My favorite color is pink and I love reading in my spare time. I love coaching and playing with kids, especially younger children because they're fun!  

Hi! My name is Pamela! My passions are athletics, health, and education. I competed in gymnastics for 12 years. I have coached preschool, summer camp, compulsory, and optional gymnastics. My degrees are in exercise science and athletic administration. I hold certificates in personal training, corrective exercise and youth fitness. I love encouraging athletes and keeping fitness fun! In addition to gymnastics, I love coaching soccer, volleyball, cheer, and track. When i'm not at the gym, I am teaching middle school science in Titusville or spending time with my family.

Hi i'm Coach Cole, I'm a former Level 10 gymnast with 18 years of coaching experience. I've coached just about everything--from trampoline and tumbling and cheerleading to men's and women's gymnastics, Ninja Warrior, and programs at every level, including recreational, USAG, and AAU. I also competed as a high school diver and was fortunate to win a state championship my senior year. I attended the University of Florida, where I continued developing the discipline, leadership, and competitive drive that shapes how I coach today.

Outside the gym, I'm a husband to my beautiful wife and a dad to three awesome kids. I love the outdoors, especially being on the water, and that sense of balance and fun carries into how I approach both coaching and life. Whether i'm working with beginners or high-level athletes, my focus is always on building confidence, strong character, and a real love for the sport. 

Hi! I'm Miss Corina! I'm a sophomore in high school, I love gymnastics and i've been doing it for about 4 years. I've volunteered as a Rocketeer here at Galactic Gymnastics since 2023 and am excited to start coaching! I love working with kids and helping them find confidence in themselves, especially through gymnastics.

But I also love all things fashion, from sewing and making clothes to doing hair and makeup. I want to be a cosmetologist, but gymnastics will always have a special place in my heart. (And if you couldn't tell, my favorite colors are light purple and pink.)

Hello! I'm Miss Bethany! I have loved gymnastics since I was a little girl. I wasn't able to do it until I was 8, and that's when I fell in love with the sport. I trained for a couple of years and even joined the gym team at Level 4 in my local gymnasium! I took a break from gymnastics and returned at 15 to do one more year of gymnastics before becoming a gymnastics coach for two years!

I love teaching kids, they are an absolute joy in my life. I love creating a fun, safe, and welcoming environment in my teaching for all of my students! I hope that every student I teach will learn valuable life lessons, and know that I care for them and will always support them in their sports journey!

I'm currently finishing my senior year of high school while dual enrolling at EFSC. I'm not sure exactly what I want to do after I graduate, but I do know that I want to carry my love and support in everything I do!

 Hi! My name is Miss Annie. I am a junior at Satellite High School. I did gymnastics for 5 years and now I play volleyball. I have two older sisters and one younger brother whom I love to be around. I love working with kids and having fun! In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach, hanging out with my friends and family, and playing volleyball.  

Hi! I'm Miss Linnea! I attend Edgewood High School and I've been doing aerial arts for 4 years. I've been on the aerial competition team for 3 years, and my favorite apparatus is hammock. I also did gymnastics for 4 years prior to aerial arts! I love coaching and motivating kids to improve their skills! I also love surfing and reading in my free time.

Hi, I am Miss Carly and I am a professional body builder!  I have been involved in sports throughout my life and I am passionate about health and fitness.  I started at the age of 3 in dance and gymnastics, then onto basketball, tennis, cheerleading, and track throughout my school years. During college, I led my cheer team as captain for 2 years!

I began weightlifting in high school and absolutely fell in love with it. I have been training for 12 years now and competing for 3. I have been honored with several wins since my first show and earned my Pro card.  I won my Pro debut and qualified for the NGA Universe, their biggest show of the year.  

When I am not training in a gym, I am working as a real estate agent.  It is very exciting to help clients buy and sell their dream homes. I am happy to assist any real estate needs across Florida's Space Coast!
